Self-Portrait

This self-portrait draws from symbolic imagery emerging through dreams and visions. Rather than an act of self-idolization, the work functions as a meditation on the mystical messages that have shaped my life. I am interested in how personal symbols arise through synchronicity, dream states, visionary experience, and everyday encounters and carry their own meaningful messages,. These magical moments form a private mythology that serve to shape our perception, identity and world view.

My practice has long been an attempt to integrate dreamwork with visual art.
