Lucia Vinograd

is an exhibiting painter, portrait artist, illustrator, graphic designer and educator. She studied at the Corcoran Gallery School of Art in Washington, D.C., and holds a degree from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. She was chair of Visual Arts Department at the Crossroads School and later at New Roads School in Los Angeles, where she taught Painting, Drawing and Design. She also taught Illustration at Otis College of Art and Design. Her commissioned work has been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, the Whitney Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A.  Her clients have included the Getty Museum, the Biosphere Foundation, the BBC, NBC, Aaron Spelling and Lorimar Productions and artists Tony Berlant and Alexis Smith. She served as Director of Programs at the Ojai Foundation, in Ojai, CA, Executive Director at the Arkansas Craft School, and most recently the Education Coordinator at the Espanola Valley Fiber Arts Center.
